Donations

We highly appreciate each individual donation. To be able to plan ahead into the future we rely on regular donations. The children will benefit to 100% from the donations. The Bahini members bear all administrative costs themselves.

For each donation, you will receive a receipt. Due to the fact that Bahini is listed as a non-profit organization, each donation is tax deductible in Germany as well as in France.

If your school or company would like to organize any kind of donation activity or event we are more than happy to assist you by providing additional information about the project. If our time allows, we are happy to meet you in person in order to present our project (e.g. as a PowerPoint presentation or as a slide show).

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to send any physical donations to Katmandu: the delivery costs are very high and packages are often lost or stolen at the Nepalese customs. However, if you plan to travel to Nepal, the children would be very grateful for donations like English books (novels), clothes or (board) games. If you consider travelling to Nepal and to meet the children, please feel free to contact us and we will provide you with more information. Once you arrived in Katmandu a member of the children’s home can pick you up and accompany you to the children’s home.
